yep, you're definitely on the right track. you have to move in slowly or you'll scare them, and then they shut down.

reminds me of animals that have been abused/lived a rough life,

you have to 'lure' them in...

had to do this a lot with behavior students in school.

and the older I get, the more I can see nefarious 'entities' are involved...

hence President Trump saying we need to fight the 'invisible enemy', and Q posting the Armor of God prayer multiple times....
