Huh. Interesting. I just looked at hundreds of images of facelift before and after photos and couldn’t find a single one where the lobes were unattached before and attached after. Not one.

Here's a few doctor comments. As the middle one says, "It isn't an appropriate look but It's easy to fix in the office." I just don't think Biden had a very good job done, or possibly several doctors were involved.
