I understand your point of view.

However, we as a country DO have a 250 year history. There are historical artifacts that are housed in DC (think Smithsonian, National Portrait Gallery, Library of Congress, etc.). Are these “institutions” corrupt? More than likely. But the historical OBJECTS contained within are not.

I don’t care if they burn to the ground or flood the acreage known as Washington DC. But please, relocate our historical objects first!!
