Yea, my home town is gone, gentrified when it wasn’t necessary. I would leave if I wasn’t making a pretty good salary deep behind enemy lines in the east bay. I’ll give it another year. It’s a job where I have to be close to a metropolitan area. The ‘70s in this town were a kick, even up to the early ‘80s. I would love to move to rural area again but my wife isn’t in to the outdoors and she’s not rugged, other than that she’s the best wife I’ve had yet... As for the cattle ranches here, we are down to one left, the family has been here with their ranch for over a hundred years, but no heirs and a lot of extended family members eyeing the 1000 acres for the property value. Sad.
