I paid relatively close attention to this news cycle. They way Obama got elected, besides his deep state backing, was that all the other candidates looked shittier. None of them were half decent and here comes this seemingly young and sharp, Harvard educated African American. Lots of easy talking points to get behind, and yah all the other candidates just seemed boring and less charismatic.
