I've seen it a lot, first hand when I was in the military. Officers and senior NCOs would bend the knee and conform to keep their position and retirement intact. Seems there is a lot of lifers looking to protect their own ass right now instead of the constitution. Just because someone makes a career in the military doesn't make them an honorable person or a patriot.
