Mormons sound super nice at face value. It sounds like there is a ton of media hate against them which gives them traction in my opinion.

My friend calls them a secret gay cult, so if anyone could explain to me why he says this, I would like some clarification.

It sounds to me like its just a bunch of overly friendly and helping people willing to work as a community to strengthen the bond between themselves and mother earth to allow for the inward progression of ones soul, correct me if I am off track here? Multiple wives, tons of children, living for America, living for God.

Somebody talk to me about the downsides here? I am very unfamiliar with Mormonism.
