Has anyone read Thomas Cowen's, The Contagion Myth?

I think Big Medicine and Big Science have so much wrong. What if viruses were actually helpful (present in our bodies when their is illness to clean-up dead tissue) and that the illnesses were caused by poor nutrition, weakened immune system and exposure to toxins?
