Hell, my father-in-law was a double for Charles Bronson in the 60s and the 70s.
He would do movie shoots, commercial shoots and even public appearances when he was asked to and he was never once found out to be a double.
He told all kinds of stories where he would use Charles Bronson's identity to skip lines at clubs or get VIP seating in nice restaurants.
This guy looked just like Charles Bronson, a real life doppelganger, and Hollywood was sure to find him and make use of him.
