You know, if it's any comfort to you... at least we know things can't sink that much lower than they are (or presumably are, given things are usually worse than we know/realize). There are a lot of shitty things they can still do that are totally fucked up, but the orders of magnitude are crossed already, and we're at/near the bottom of the barrel, I think.

It's a little tiny bit liberating to be free of the fear that worse things may/can/will happen, I think.
