They shouldn't have the right to do that. Hopefully they are able to sue. Given how their governor is getting re-called, it seems like the lockdowns are not all that popular in California so they may be able to prevail in a lawsuit.

This wasn't the state of California doing this, despite what the headline of the article states. It's Burbank, a suburb of Los Angeles. Don't get me wrong, the sate government sucks, but LA county takes the cake.
