That's because your instincts and intuition told you it was fake, but then you spent 20 minutes concocting a way to explain it in your mind. Just watch the original video. It looks like a scene from Roger Rabbit.
Also because he was primed to watch for the hand going through the mike at a particular time. Very common, that's about the only way that clip is framed no matter where you find it online.
But the info from multiple video angles makes it unlikely it's a green screen, no?
I was absolutely not primed to see anything the first time I watched it. I noticed it before I knew what to look for.
ETA: After the first time, it just gets worse. Something looks off. It’s unnatural. It even looks like Xiden slides forward after he quits walking. Those other things I may have been looking for.
The second video doesn't explain anything. If the mic was so far away from him, why does it appear Biden's arm goes over top of it in the first angle. ...?

Nope. He had the exact same posture at the 12th second of the ABC clip. Dead cat still in the front and the lady in black was still in the background on the pic. To have the dead cat creep up on his back means he's literally touching the reporter's knee in the pic.
