First off, great work. You’ve saved numerous kids from abuse with this action alone.
My kids are just getting into the education system and everything seems to be backwards. Educators protect the educators and not the children. You would think that raising the issue of grooming would initiate swift and immediate action on the issue. But the reality is that the only way you’ll see accountability is if the administration is at risk. Going to the police is brilliant because it escalates the issue and puts the administrators (and possibly the union) under scrutiny. This is the only way for them to cut a teacher loose. This may be a benefit of the “me too” movement - even the educators/administration live in fear of exposure.
