I’m not the type to make a post like this but for the first time I feel panicked.
My manager just told me corporate is probably going to make vaccines mandatory, and they’ve been suggesting it on her calls. (It’s a very liberal company.)
I can hold out for the plan but I’m terrified of this vaccine being forced on me. I’ll leave the job if I have to, but this is getting to be too much.
How are other people dealing with this? I can’t afford to not have a job even for even a month. I’m an independent and a student and work weekends so I’m paycheck to paycheck.
I’m all for respecting other people’s choice to get the shot, and I haven’t gotten any backlash from my friends for expressing my desire not to take it. I’m doing fine. But if it becomes a trend for jobs to require it I’ll be trapped. It would be a deep state check mate on me.
Can the plan really allow this?! It’s giving me doubt for the first time and my faith is shaken.
Edit: thank you all so much. This community gives me so much strength.
Don't quit. Sue them if they try to fire you, period. Illegal to force any medical procedures on people.
Especially if this shit is experimental and NOT approved by the FDA.
You could always tell them you identify as a vaccinated person. I mean we all have to accept that as truth when a fucking 45 year old man tells us his name is Janice and he is a woman right? Turn their dumb as fuck logic against them.
Right. I should just make up a religion or some shit.
You don't have to make up the documented fact that the R&D used aborted babies, and it appears that the manufacture does as well. Any Christian has a valid argument for objection on moral grounds.
If you have any allergies or immune system challenges (such as family history/risk of cancer) it is medically recommended not to take gene therapy (it can cause your cells to attack each other).

I would def make bank if I succeed, they’re a very successful company. But I don’t take suing lightly. I’m a libertarian and I feel that companies are within their right to operate as they please... but this could be an exception. It’s extremely unethical.
^ This, companies are not humans. A business is run by a person; that person does not get executive rights over others because they operate a business. "Businesses", or more realistically their owners, aught have no more rights than you or I.
It's EXTREMELY unethical, and one should have zero qualms in suing a company that would take the side of our enemies and forcing things on the people against their will with the threat of consequences (loss of job etc.)
If they do this, they are your enemy, take it to the "battlefield."
