I think they believe they are the descendants of Cain, the son of Satan after seducing Eve. They worship Baal, Moloch, etc and believe that they are pleasing Lucifer by sacrificing children. They view the rest of us as subhuman cattle, and have no guilt about causing us suffering.

It is completely twisted but they view it as a legitimate religion, just like Christianity. And when they say the word "God" it is Lucifer they mean.
