They stated this is because the lymph nodes swell up after receiving the vaccination and can cause suspect images on the results. They are further instructed to receive MRIs and or diagnostic ultrasounds. So they tell you to wait five weeks. I stated to one of the doctors this is highly suspect. They said not at all! This happens with the flu vaccination as well but because this is a mass vaccination it is showing up more so they advise you to wait. Isn’t the flu vaccination a mass vaccination as well?

Your description of their reasoning actually sounds very logical. I don't know what 5 weeks would be the magic number, but lymph nodes do get inflamed as they build immune response to illness. It stands to reason, objectively speaking, that they would do the same for a vaccine, and that could interfere with an accurate result on a mammogram.
