All cruiselines have private islands in the Bahamas. It is a huge money maker for them. Rather than taking you to Nassau, they take you to their private island and get to upsell everything to you. Alcohol, beach cabanas, water activities, etc. It is a huge money maker for them. Royal Carribean even build a water park on their private island.
