I found this technique on youtube to get a bit of temporary relief, that involves covering your ears with your hands and drumming on the back of your skull with your fingers. It's certainly not a cure, but it helps for a little while. Being a trucker for years makes silence unbearable at times.

I'd have to check the data, but i would assume tinnitus suicides are probably quite low.
