I work with someone who is a former Marine officer - Annapolis. A shitty leader. Spouse Anon was in the USMC but was enlisted. He has met this person. I was frustrated with co-worker one day and mentioned to Spouse Anon that shouldn't co-worker be a better leader given his training. Spouse Anon went onto explain he was a 'Hoorah Harry' and had figured that out the first time he met him. As an enlisted, he had to learn quickly how to manage up.
