As u/KoalaTrump stated, anybody can register a domain and make it forward to another domain.

Removing as non-issue that can cause confusion for normies.

It does but it seems too obvious plus anyone can purchase any domain name and have it route to another already existing one.

https://www.itanimulli.net - Redirects to NSA.
https://www.itanimulli.org - Redirects to https://minervallux.com/
https://www.itanimulli.co/ - Fails on wherever it's going.
https://www.itanimulli.us/ - Nothing.

Both the .net and .com addresses were registered on the same day in 2002 via GoDaddy. Of course, the nsa.gov is managed on a completely different, government name server.

Go daddy recently has been quietly replacing their Huawei equipment. They are compromised.
