There ain't no "quit" in God. Seriously, it just ain't IN Him. Only a few years ago, I discovered that God's purposes and God's plans are REALLY important to me. DUH! One of the best discoveries I've ever made - but honestly, I should have been living that way a LONG time ago. His Kingdom? His "righteousness" (remaking the world in His image) - that's some of the best stuff in which I have EVER been involved. Let's GOOOOO! TASKS! PURPOSE! LEADERSHIP! He's got it all.

So, what am I doing now? Spending every day giving thanks and trying to encourage and uplift the wonderful people with whom I work and worship. Trying to align myself with GOD'S purposes and plans. Yes, I plead in prayer sometimes (Lord, please... Okay, I plead a LOT) but mostly, my prayers are about "where do You want me to be right now, Father? What should I be doin' for YOUR end-goals? What/who do I need to be studying in Your Holy Word? Lord, can You just make me useful to You, somehow, somewhere?"

And He has. Big ugly, clumsy, dooffus me. He has made me useful, most often in SPITE of myself. LOL! And He is never in a hurry but He is ALWAYS on time. Yes, I get frustrated; I get in a hurry - but this is all about HIS mercy; HIS reconciliation; HIS forgiveness; HIS Kingdom; HIS renewal; HIS transformation. It's HIS will that not ONE should perish. And God is not some egotist. He's just doin' what needs to be done for the betterment of EVERYTHING. Even I'M gettin' some better... LOL! You hang out with HIM, things like that are gonna happen... I cannot recommend HIM highly enough.
