Of course I'm not saying that there would be a 100% absolutist correlation even if there indeed existed one. I'm just noticing how many of the band kids or beta male cucks I knew from high school now identify as bleeding heart liberals who virtue signal endlessly and shame others for questioning authority.
Also, I was picked on all through elementary school, middle school, I was finally able to free myself in high school as I pushed myself to stick through a rigorous wrestling season i was encouraged to fill the Varsity spot at the lowest weight class for (no prior experience and got my ass kicked and lost all 27 matches I participated in my freshman year) even despite wanting to quit every day and was really discouraged by how much of a "late bloomer" I was and how much stronger my competition was.
But alas, I pushed myself to finish first season despite the nonstop failures because I was determined to finally be able to do something when some of the other kids in my boarding school dorm would pick on me besides getting put in a headlock or choked out.
Was planning to not come back after the first season but because of a) finally being able to successfully make my bully want to stop picking on me by the end of the year, and B) my wrestling coach talking to me in private post-season & pointing out how much of an improvement I made despite losing every match, and so he convinced me that I'd be guaranteed to pick up some wins if I came back the following year and so I did.
Came back my sophomore year and nearly reversed my record freshman year of 7 wins, 27 losses (wins were by forfeit), and ended my second season at 21 wins, 12 losses. Ended up joining many of my teammates and joined the Rugby team in the spring as well and fell in love with the sport.
Finished my junior year on the wrestling team at 27-10, and made the Varsity rugby team this year as well. My senior year I finished the wrestling season at 32-8 and even won the sectional tournament and qualified for Semi-State. And my Rugby team made it to the state championship for the state of Indiana and finished at 2nd place with a loss by a single try (worth 6 points)
So despite the physical disadvantages I had starting out and having been picked on the majority of my life, I was blessed enough to learn that with enough resilience, dedication and persevere, I could work my way out of being picked on and liberals myself in ways I never thought possible for someone like me..
And in doing so I ended up having the best high school experience I could've ever hoped for (although I wasnt able to develop a full skillset with women until a year into college) as I gained actual confidence in myself and forced respect from my peers who initially considered me to be unworthy of such.
That was pretty long, but I guess this is why I find it difficult to have respect for those far leftists I know who were in the same boat I was in high school, however they decided to take the alternative, easily paved path of "Why try something if I know I'm going to fail?"
And in doing so find themselves today relishing in being able to shame people for being against masks, lockdowns, vaccines, virtue signaling on social media and adhering to backwards ideology such as Critical race theory and incorporating Transgender studies in children as young as pre-school.
Thanks for sharing that. It's inspiring to see people overcome the odds.
Thanks fren. That's all it is really. Bullying people for things about themselves they CANNOT change is evil unrighteous and unjust. But everyone should push their peers to grow into better versions of themselves you know that they can be. That's the Central theme of what I'm praising id say.
