Demons are incorporeal and have a hard time existing in our dimension that's why they need technology to corporalize into our reality but they are very real.
There are good and bad aliens (watchers) but the bad ones are compelled to help demons because they lack free will (this is accomplished through AI and other technologies).
That's why all the transhumanism, they need to make us like them in order to win. True transhumanism would want to be accomplished through perfection of our DNA and would be more like superhumanism, and is even more viable than transhumanism as it keeps free will and the human experience intact and pure.
But they don't want us being Godly (pure) that is not their intent. They want to destroy the human experience, utterly -- it is the only way they can corporalize into our world. The enemy is indifferent to man / woman / child and they will annihilate us all the same.
