Putin called out Hollywood years ago as a fantasy factory that only ever portrayed the US/ UK as the hero and Russia as the evil fool.
When the EU shafted Cyprus( an EU member, Commonwealth Tax Haven) a lot of Russians lost “ secret “investments. Putin coolly sent a message out to Russians to bring their money back home to Mother Russia.
He has been in this game against the DS for years. I think it’s no coincidence that the DS picked Russia as the bogeyman to link Trump to. If they could have got traction they might have succeeded.
The fact that Putin is gently questioning things tells me that he’s on the white hat side.
