I should not have had Type 2 diabetes, BUT, in the Navy, I was aboard a flag ship that went up the Saigon River in January 64 for a few days- the ventilation system sucked in a fair load of Agent Orange..

I was looking for my ships patch when I discovered the ships crew is part of the Agent Orange Registry-I signed up with VA-that has been taking care of my needs (insulin and supplies, medicines all at no cost) since it is "presumed to have caused " The compensation may come this year.. All this answered a real head scratcher at my being a vegetarian for 45 years, too.
