The split between Amash and Trump, and Trump and Massie, really killed me. I consider them part of an extremely small group of good representatives I've seen in my lifetime.
The only thing I can figure is they were unable to see the bigger picture at certain times. I maintain that if people like Amash and Massie served throughout Congress we never would have needed someone like Trump.
It'll be interesting to revisit their interactions in later years and see if any deeper strategy was in play.
It doesn't surprise me in the slightest, but it is a bit unnerving to realize that there are very few elected representatives actually serving as our founding fathers intended. Now they serve the Deep State Swamp, and their own self-interests.
Our Constitutional Republic will be dead if action is not taken soon to preserve and restore it.
