Tyrannical, totalitarian governments ALWAYS become Gulags in the end. A decent government will try to keep unwanted hordes of migrants OUT... but a terrible government ends up keeping people IN.

Oh the excuses they use are noble sounding.... but they all come down to the big lie, "It's for the greater good." They will whisper that in your ear as the final thing you hear, before the bullet crashes through the skull.
