I completely understand, I was pulled over a long time ago (20yrs) with my brother and the cop asked if we had any weapons in the vehicle. We both busted out laughing and said pick your poison, he knew the jig stopped their. We had a work van filled with ironworking tools, everything/anything can be a weapon. I only bear arms not weapons, firearms, assault rifle, etc. or any other bs. Arms are merely private property. Language, language, the courts will get you with it and the definitions.
