KEK = LOL. The translation came from an online video game when players of different fantasy races would try to talk to each other in the game. One player would type "LOL" the other player would read "KEK."

Thank you I somewhat thought it had to do with laughing ..funny etc but I sometimes see it written where I wasn’t sure that comedy was involved. Glad to know often wondered .. a few expressions I had to figure out ..I didnt realize normies meant ..them ..I thought we were the normies lol ..
