I had my baby shower in my hometown a few weeks ago. Yes, I flew at 8 months pregnant and had a gathering of about 20 people ranging in age from 2 weeks old to 85 years old. Nobody wore masks. We laughed, hugged, ate, drank took photos, and had a wonderful time. A year ago, I would sadly have skipped out on all of that, but I wasn’t about to let the lying government ruin my special day. [Spoiler alert: We are all still very much alive and well]
