Is there a way to check if a satellite has fallen?

May have seen one last night. Fell straight down at a high speed, bright green, and had to have hit the ground. I doubt it was a meteor.

Nope, DFW area. I haven't seen anything on local news yet. I doubt it's important, but if ever there was a place to ask.... I figured we must have satellitefags ?
