there are so many clues in the magazines.

look at the the text above 'platform', tells us to buckle our 'chin straps' .

how did they know people would have something over their faces...?

That magazine also has a fictional story called Elder Skelter, about a crisis with the elderly written by a man who writes 'alternate fiction' & the story was set in Quebec, which is code for Q.
