People sin, and all organizations run by people suffer from this sin. This is no different in any other Christian church.

There are many misunderstandings about the Catholic Faith and Church (capital C) embedded in these comments. The Catholic church (Lower case c) on the other hand, has human sin problems. Happy to engage in more discussion, as I converted to Catholicism from Protestantism many years ago. I spent a long time contemplating these questions and issues.
