He has a powerful table-top microscope with a powerful light (as the area under extreme magnification will otherwise be too dim). He's looking at lint, which slowly twists in the warmth generated by the lamp.
It's very possible, but that's three different videos with three different swabs.

what kind of lint twists in warmth? How much warmth/microm^3?
I was wondering why he was wearing black dirt biking gloves??? They were all black and linty.
