We're in a war, the unfortunate and inescapable truth is that innocent people are going to die. There's no way to avoid it.

Those who are wide awake and adapting successfully the situation will survive, but those folks might also be witness to much pain, suffering and horrors of war.

I'm not sure which is worse, but my survival instinct is pretty strong and so if God sees fit to spare me He'll also need to equip me for what is to come.

What else can we do?
