Can you explain further? I was mostly focusing on the French Revolution last night, less so on Todd, just that little blip of his seemed relevant to the times.

IMO a huckster and like many over the years, made huge claims on unverifiable "facts". You took it all at his word it was all true and to hear more would cost you.
