If it's headed to Rotterdam, the map shows it going in exactly the wrong direction.

Huh? It's going North through the canal, and after it docks to assess damages it will go through the Mediterranean and around Spain and Portugal towards Rotterdam. It's currently stopped in the middle of the canal, but that's just to let other ships through first.
