I don’t doubt this at all. Any significant advancement in tech, communications or energy will immediately be deemed a strategic or military application and classified. If it does slip out, it will look like the cold fusion debacle as they pounce on it to discredit it.

The best part is when, 30 years or so later, the clowns pretend to invent it and make themselves rich while finding a nephew to drop out of Harvard to “start” a tech company with said tech.
