I am not giving medical advice but I recommend you buy one of those fingertip pulse oximeters. You want to keep a close eye on your blood oxygen levels. Anything lower than 93 is dangerous.
My experience was that you can be breathing fine, but if your blood oxygen is lower than 93, you can be in distress. The key is to keep your blood oxygenated.
I don't venture a position on anything. I know that I got pretty sick and I believe it was similar to the flu, as I had never had the flu before. Never get the flu shot either. Either way, I was left with a couple of lasting results, no sense of smell or taste.
