I've been watching the HBO documentary about Q and there are some things I was curious about as I had not heard this info before. I was not aware that there are some people under the impression that the current Q we follow may not be the original Q. What are your guys thoughts on this and why? Is there any proof that this Q is the same as the original Q and if so, what? Are we just taking Codemonkey's word for it (though that doesn't sound like something the anons I've come to know would do)?
Another question I had is what are your opinions on Fred/Jim/Ron? I do not like how Fred seemed to flip flop on his opinions about 8kun once he quit/was fired. And Jim seems like a shady character. They all do, honestly. The way the Doc is filmed or perhaps it's the way they all are acting, it's almost as if this whole Q thing is a game to them. Something that drives publicity to their site, and nothing more. I'm actually really surprised that this is who runs the board the almighty Q posts on. Any thoughts/opinions/sauce is greatly appreciated.
I was super interested after the first and second episodes. I knew right off the bat they weren't going to go into deep Q drop info, but I was fascinated because it told me a history I knew nothing about and couldn't find on the internet (although perhaps that is my fault) such as the origins of 8kun, 4chan and such. It was informative at the beginning for a newbie like me because I did not know about the original players such as Paul Fuhrber etc. But after episodes 3 and 4 I realize it's basically a big larp. It's discrediting Q under the guise of researching/documenting Q. I'm still going to finish it out because at this point I'm starved for Q anything. But I see it for what it is and not hoping for anything more.
