What would have to happen for most of the population wake up?

At this point, I think a good 40% wouldn't wake up no matter what.

Hunter in his towel leading the 8 year old Chinese girl into the hotel room clad in pink / purple cheap looking lingerie. I was kinda hoping that Q was gonna hack the big screens at the superbowl and show that to the country. Sadly, he was a little busy with something else that day
