Named "La Boum" (in reference to the French 80s movie "La Boum"), the creator(s) announced that they would throw a party in the park "Bois de la Cambre" in Brussels on April 1st.
Around 70,000 individuals answered that they would attend the event.
The organizers later told the press that this was a joke and no such party would be organized.
However, around 5,000 people gathered today to have fun and massive police forces were deployed to evacuate the park and proceed to some arrests.
