Well, they racked up some enormous fines (charged by the hour) during the period of time they blocked shipping in the canal.

Sounds like the owner is going to try to use some of the cargo to offset those fines? That would be weird (and suck for the owners of the cargo).

I wonder what else that would lead to... inspections of most of the containers on the ship maybe?
