I read the Bible and it shapes my view.
Tell me something. Why does your church forbid its priests to marry?
How can you call a church Holy that rejects the word of the apostles of God?
Furthermore, how can you call a church Holy which sets itself above God by "transferring the sanctity of the Sabbath" to Sunday? To change the law of God is to set oneself above God.

Oh wait, you can't. You're brainwashed by the church to take their word for everything instead of checking it yourself. You completely missed the part of the Bible where Christ said the law will be unchanged until all is fulfilled. You're brainwashed by the church, an organization that gave ITSELF that apostolic authority you cite, into believing God's law is whatever they say it is instead of what He says it is.
Of the 2 Billion Christians, 50% are Catholic and hold a Catholic interpretation of the Bible. That means there are 1 BILLION CHRISTIANS like you who think they understand what the Bible means, yet there are how many sects? 40,000+???
You all might want to get together and figure it out.
The church is the Bride. A priest who has a wife and family does not have time to do the work of the Priest. There is PLENTY to read about on this matter from a Catholic viewpoint. If you're interested, you can look it up. You aren't going to convince me or anyone here. I used to be just like you a few years ago.
Just be logically consistent. Go take all your "gotcha" questions and look up the Catholic view point on that apologetic matter. You will get a clear explanation for all your questions.
Or better yet, take your questions to a Traditional Latin Mass Priest. He will catch you right up.
