Thats exactly what every one said with NYSAFE act regarding guns. Every one thought it was just for NYC and "it wont affect me up here in the Adirondacks". Now it's the blueprint for the nationwide bill going through congress now.

So the next step will be "Well I just wont shop at [store that requires vac id] then" and thats good on you for not supporting the nonsense. But soon every one will be complying just like the NYSAFE act.

People at gun ranges will happily throw you under the bus if your freedom stick has a banned feature. And judges are just as happy to make sure they ruin the rest of your life.

tl;dr the social pressure will be so great eventually non-covid vaccinated people will be cast out. you can still send your kid with measels to day care though.
