As far as I can see, he made sure there was a vaccine before he left office to shorten the life of the "pandemic", leaving no reason to continue the lockdowns after all the people that feared the virus so much get their shots.

He also stated that taking it is a choice, the smartest move he could make.

The sheep get their Vax and the sensible people sit back and watch. ?
