Observation from Texas. May be something

I'm a truck driver so I cover alot of ground. In my travels{just in Texas} I have noticed new car dealerships with hardly any cars on the lots. Just wondering is this normal or is there more to it?

Maybe it's all the idiots out racing at 3 in the morning breaking all the new cars.
