I've learned from Monkeywerx about the Air Force touch and go training, wondering if this could be similar since the Potato actually does little to nothing the Marine crews get to train flying around the DC.
What I saw from a distance people got out of 1 of the helicopters and there was also an ambulance there. The motorcade of about 7 vehicles and a bunch of people standing by the inner fence. Do not know but did not look to be a drill of sorts.
Didn't say it was specifically "touch and go training" just that I learned the air force did that with the pres fleet (to clarify, I knew they did it but learned they do it more often that I'd thought they did).
What I said about the choppers was training flying around DC which they'd do when they could precisely because it's a no fly zone, I don't have telegram nor will sign up for it so didn't see the video of people getting off.
It just seems strange to me they would risk using all three at the same time, no matter the circumstances. I thought Marine Ones were all reserved for Presidential use.
Risking all three at the same time seems like a dumb move just for some practice time.
As far as using DC particularly because it is a no-fly zone, that's risky as well. Imagine a pilot doing some practice runs and crashing into a monument. Risk assessment wouldn't allow practice runs like that, I'd figure.
I did see same video by a CIVILIAN individual and certainly looked real to me but guess there is no talk about it.

It looks less like an ambulance to me and more like a fire marshal. Hard to make out, but that's my first guess.
Touch and go training with 3 separate Marine Ones in a no-fly airspace seems like the least likely explanation.
They were there for a reason. People came out and got into a car, according to some reports.
It shows it on Rumble-Richard Citizen Journalist, I think he is called. Nine minute video.

Righteo.

I could be wrong though.
