The fish is a symbol, like all symbols there are many interpretations. I'll point you in the direction, but you should study the info. and interpret for yourself. I would suggest pulling info. from all religions, they are all viable.

The fish symbol is everywhere:

In Sumerian - Enki's symbol is the goat-fish also represented by the Capricorn constellation.

In Egyptian - Osiris' (The Orion constellation was Osiris to the Egyptians) is killed and cut into 14 pieces by Set, Set throws his penis into a river where the penis is swallowed by a fish. Isis creates a golden phallic to replace his penis. Has sex with Osiris and gives birth to Horus. In Greek/Roman - Poseidon/Neptune has the fish as his symbol.

In the Old Testament/Caanite - Dagon

I believe the fish is typically evil and the fish/goat, fish/man is good.

Enki transformed himself into a half fish half goat to battle the evil fish. It is said that Enki created man and hid in our DNA the ability to become god like which is what I think the Great Awakening is, the veil will be removed and will attain the effluence of the Moon and then, after a few decades will attain the effluences of the Sun.
