Are You still there my Jesus?
We are so alone.
There's a lockdown Jesus, we have no church home.
Your church is bolted Jesus
We cannot enter in.
Are you still there dear Jesus, our infant God & King?
We kneel upon the church step.
We shed a quiet tear.
Lord save us, less we perish for truly do we fear.
You calm the storm dear Jesus.
You cure the sick and lame
End the Chinese Tyrants
Heal us once again.
You are essential Jesus
Our only God and King.
Give wisdom to Your shepherds.
Open wide the door.
The good news is, God does not change regardless of what goes on down here! We have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit to accompany us on our journey wherever we go! Church is the body of believers, not the building! Try and find a few people close to you that you can meet with, video chat with or call and enjoy fellowship that way until we are delivered from this evil! It may seem very frustrating but hold onto your faith! They can never remove Jesus from your heart and they can't stop your prayers from being heard in Heaven!
If the church is going to make its members wear a mask in order to appease the government, they might as well have the doors locked. No sense in going to church with a mask on.
House churches were all the rage in Roman times, perhaps it’s time for them to come back into season?
No not all.
But yes, some churches do get away from biblical teaching and allow Satan to disrupt the work God has tasked them with. It is VERY important to be wary when looking for a new church home. But not all are bad. I would say not even some! A very small percentage, just like everything else. The church I call home is a wondeful place with a very kindhearted pastor who emphasizes God's word and Jesus' example above all else.
